How to buy my VIP license
Step 1: Go to the shop section
1. Go to the shop section in your panel or directly through the following link bydsentry.com/panel/index.php?rp=/store/byd-sentry/vip
2. Find the VIP product.
3. Click on the order now button.
4. Click on the checkout button.
5. Fill out the required information requested, it is important to use real information.
6. Fill out the payment details.
7. Click on complete order.
Note: If you want to make the payment for a period greater than one year before step 4, locate the VIP product and click on the edit button, then select the desired billing cycle and click on the continue button.
How to activate my VIP license
Step 1: Download the WeChat mobile app
1. Download the mobile WeChat app on:
- Apple store: apps.apple.com/app/id414478124
- Google play: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tencent.mm
Note: Do not perform any of these steps if you have not purchased your BYD Centinela VIP. Since these steps only work with your VIP license, they will not work for you and you could very likely mess up the configuration when you purchase your license. Since once you create a WeChat account it is permanently linked.
Step 2: Create a WeChat account
1. Enter your real name or full name.
2. Select your real region.
3. Enter your real phone number.
4. Enter a password you can remember.
5. Click on the accept and continue button.
6. Select a verification method and complete your WeChat account verification (We recommend the card verification method).
Step 3: Scan the QR code for enable service account
1. Click on the more options button.
2. Click on the scan option.
3. The camera will open automatically, and you must scan the following QR code.
4. It will automatically take you to the service account profile, click on the follow service account button.
Step 4: Link your license to your WeChat account
1. Click on the remote viewing button.
2. Click on the account button.
3. Fill in the first field with your license username.
4. Fill in the second field with your license password.
5. Click on the login button.
Step 5: Link your license to your BYD vehicle
1. Open your Magic Manager app in your BYD vehicle.
2. Click on the settings button.
3. Click on the login button.
4. Fill in the first field with your license username.
5. Fill in the second field with your license password.
6. Click on the login button.
Step 6: Register your BYD vehicle
1. Click on the bind current vehicle button.
2. Fill in the first field with the word BYDSentry.
3. Fill in the second field with the word BYDSentry.
4. Select the check default vehicle.
5. Click on the bind immediately button.
Step 7: Enable license in your BYD vehicle
1. Take a screenshot, as shown in the example image.
2. Go to the support tickets section in your panel or directly through the following link bydsentry.com/panel/supporttickets.php
3. Look for the ticket called BYD Sentry VIP subscription.
4. Within that ticket, attach the screenshot taken and send the ticket.
5. Once we receive the capture, we will proceed to activate the license in your BYD vehicle.
Note: You must send the capture as long as your vehicle is not shown under click to bind current vehicle as shown in the image. If it is not linked, your activation process will take longer, since we must do the linking manually in the system.
Step 8: Reload your Magic Guard app to update your license.
1. Click on the restart app button, only if it appears to you.
Note: Only perform this step if the button appears, if the button does not appear, skip this step.
2. Click on the stop button.
3. Click on the start button.
4. Check that the VIP badge now appears.
Note: Sometimes the VIP badge is displayed and sometimes it is not, if it does not appear, skip this step.
5. Click on the settings button.
6. Click on the profile button.
7. Check that the VIP badge now appears.
