Third-Party Vendors: We will share information with third-party vendors based in Mexico, Canada, the United States, and the European Union, data center service providers based in Mexico, Canada, the United States, the European Union, and Singapore, outside advisors/consultants, business partners, tax, accounting, and legal firms Collaborators based in Mexico, Canada, the United States, and the European Union, who need to know information about you in order to perform various services on our behalf. This group includes vendors who help us provide our services, such as payment vendors who process your credit card information or information about alternative payment methods and billing, and accounting firms, as well as vendors who help us prevent fraud. To protect rights and property: We will share personal and account information with companies, organizations or individuals when we believe in good faith that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is necessary to comply with any applicable law, comply with regulations, proceedings or enforcement requests; to enforce or apply our Terms of Service and other agreements; to investigate potential violations; to protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of BYD Sentry, our users or the public as required or permitted by law. To the extent we are legally permitted to do so, we will take all reasonable steps to notify you in the event we are required to provide your personal information to any third party as part of any legal process.
Domain Registrars: Domain owner information (WHOIS data) for any domain name is required and controlled by the ICANN-accredited registrar and Registry for the top-level domain you wish to register or have registered. We share your information to the extent necessary to comply with ICANN rules, regulations, and policies, with the rules and policies of the ICANN-accredited registrars we represent, and the rules and policies of the top-level domain registry. These registrars are located in Europe, the US, and Canada. Information is also shared with the Registry for the top-level domain that may be located in another jurisdiction. Use and disclosure of personal information as part of the domain registration process is governed by the Domain Name terms in our Terms of Service and the applicable agreements with the ICANN-accredited registrar. Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company, or in the unlikely event that BYD Sentry goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would likely be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. Retention Periods

Generally, we will automatically delete your account information from the User Area 2 years after you no longer have any active service with us. Since we offer a service for customers worldwide and must comply with regulations worldwide regarding the retention of personal information related to contractual agreements, provision of services, financial, billing, invoicing operations and tax calculations, a versioned copy of your contact, payment and billing personal data associated with your previous invoices is stored for a period of 10 years after you deactivate an account.
